1.Classification by production method: artificial blowing; mechanical blowing and extrusion molding.
2. Classification by composition: sodium glass; lead glass and borosilicate glass.
3. Classification by bottle mouth size.
① Small-mouth bottle. It is a glass bottle with an inner diameter of less than 20mm, mostly used to package liquid materials, such as soda, various alcoholic beverages, etc.
② Wide-mouth bottle. Glass bottles with an inner diameter of 20-30mm, with a relatively thick and short shape, such as milk bottles.
③ Wide-mouth bottle. Such as canned bottles, honey bottles, pickle bottles, candy bottles, etc., with an inner diameter of more than 30mm, short necks and shoulders, flat shoulders, and mostly cans or cups. Due to the large bottle mouth, loading and unloading are easier, and are mostly used to package canned foods and viscous materials.
4. Classification by bottle geometry
① Round bottle. The cross-section of the bottle body is round, which is the most widely used bottle type with high strength.
②Square bottle. The cross section of the bottle is square. This type of bottle is weaker than round bottles and more difficult to manufacture, so it is less used.
③Curved bottle. Although the cross section is round, it is curved in the height direction. There are two types: concave and convex, such as vase type and gourd type. The shape is novel and very popular with users.
④Oval bottle. The cross section is oval. Although the capacity is small, the shape is unique and users also like it.
