Eight factors that affect the finish of glass bottles

After the glass bottles are produced and formed, sometimes there will be many spots of wrinkles, bubble scratches, etc. on the bottle body, which are mostly caused by the following reasons:

1. When the glass blank falls into the initial mold, it cannot enter the initial mold accurately, and the friction with the mold wall is too large, forming folds. After the positive air is blown, the wrinkles spread and enlarged, forming wrinkles on the glass bottle body.

2. The scissor marks of the upper feeder are too large, and scissor scars appear on the bottle body after some bottles are formed.

3. The material of the initial mold and the mold of the glass bottle is poor, the density is not enough, and the oxidation is too fast after high temperature, forming small pits on the surface of the mold, causing the surface of the glass bottle after forming to be not smooth.

4. The poor quality of the glass bottle mold oil will cause insufficient lubrication of the mold, reduce the dripping speed, and change the material shape too quickly.

5. The design of the initial mold is unreasonable, the mold cavity is large or small, and after the material is dripped into the molding mold, it is blown up and diffused unevenly, which will cause spots on the glass bottle body.

6. The machine dripping speed is uneven, and improper adjustment of the air nozzle will make the temperature of the initial mold and the mold of the glass bottle uncoordinated, which is easy to create cold spots on the glass bottle body and directly affect the finish.

7. The glass liquid in the kiln is not clean or the material temperature is uneven, which will also cause bubbles, small particles, and small hemp blanks in the output glass bottles.

8. If the speed of the row machine is too fast or too slow, the glass bottle body will be uneven, the bottle wall will be of different thicknesses, and spots will be produced.
