Glass bottles are classified by shape

(1) Classification by geometric shape of glass bottles
① Round glass bottles. The cross section of the bottle is round. It is the most commonly used bottle type with high strength.
② Square glass bottles. The cross section of the bottle is square. This type of bottle is weaker than round bottles and more difficult to manufacture, so it is less used.
③ Curved glass bottles. Although the cross section is round, it is curved in the height direction. There are two types: concave and convex, such as vase type and gourd type. The style is novel and very popular with users.
④ Oval glass bottles. The cross section is oval. Although the capacity is small, the shape is unique and users also like it.

(2) Classification by different uses
① Glass bottles for wine. The output of wine is very large, and almost all of it is packaged in glass bottles, mainly round glass bottles.
② Daily packaging glass bottles. Usually used to package various daily small commodities, such as cosmetics, ink, glue, etc. Due to the wide variety of products, the bottle shape and seal are also diverse.
③ Canned bottles. Canned food has many types and large output, so it is a self-contained industry. Wide-mouth bottles are mostly used, with a capacity of 0.2-0.5L.
④ Medical glass bottles. These are glass bottles used to package medicines, including brown screw-mouthed small-mouth bottles with a capacity of 10-200mL, infusion bottles with a capacity of 100-1000mL, and completely sealed ampoules.
⑤ Chemical reagent bottles. Used to package various chemical reagents, the capacity is generally 250-1200mL, and the bottle mouth is mostly screw or ground.
